Behavior therapy helps children with learning and behavioral problems. Our Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians are experts in helping children increase helpful behaviors and decrease behaviors that are harmful or affect learning. These include problems with:
- Communication and language skills
- Social skills
- Self-care skills like showering and toileting
- Play and leisure
- Motor skills
- Learning and academic skills
Typically, children who receive physical therapy services include but are not limited to the following diagnoses:
- Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Down syndrome
- Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD)
